Pat: I thought you were cool with your Star Wars shirt and you thought I was the dreamiest.

Jackie: Did I?

Pat: You did. You told me.

Jackie: Was I there for that conversation?

Pat: No, but you were saying it with your eyes. I heard it.

Jackie: Sounds legit.

Their story began in the early summer of 2021, when Jackie walked into her kickboxing class and found Pat at the bag next to hers. He liked her Star Wars shirt...

Pat: Because Star Wars is the best.

Jackie: Debatable.

A great friendship blossomed over that year, and when the time was right, their friendship evolved into a loving relationship.

Jackie: Picture it. Sicily, 1923...

Pat: What?

Jackie: :D

It was May 1st, 2024. With Jackie's new work schedule, she could only go to CrossFit with Pat and their friends on Wednesdays.

Pat showed up late to class due to traffic and was slightly on edge. Jackie thought nothing of it, chatting with everyone and having a good time.

At the end of class, they went to take the group picture.

Jackie: I just want to say I was sweaty and tired and ready to go home after that workout, so I was just waiting for him to take the picture.

Pat: And I just want everyone to know that I chose this date specifically for Jackie. May 1st is the date that Aragorn was crowned King in Lord of the Rings. Boom! Mic drop!
